Our National Pastime

Just got back from an excellent excursion to the quaint village of Coopers-town, home to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Even though I was the only one not sporting team colors (ralph lauren hardly counts), I still managed to have a good time, and not get pegged as a heretic. However, while wandering around the hallowed halls of the sacred Museum, I happened by a couple of really great sweaters, some of which looked like they just walked off a Michael Bastian, or Tommy Hilfiger runway. Unfortunately I was unable to snap any pictures, even while the rest of the crowd drooled over signed memorabilia, and whatnot. However, I did find some great pictures of said sweaters online, but none of the great, vintage, varsity jackets that haunt those pictures of old. On that note, it was well worth the trip, and although I had been there before, a second time around never hurts. I highly recommend the experience to baseball fans, aspiring athletes alike, but be sure to scuff your pants slightly with astroturf, or you may be guffawed out of the building.
