"We are the music makers, And we are the dreamers of dreams, Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;— World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams: Yet we are the movers and shakers Of the world for ever, it seems."

A Note On Fashion Week
Perhaps you have been wondering why I, unlike many other blogger's, do not post pictures from the runway, or of the sartorially religious masses around and involved in, New York fashion week. The truth is, I have always been a bit skeptical of all the hype surrounding this week, and the ensuing chaos that always follows. Sure, its great fun, and a good chance to get a glimpse at some sick new clothing for spring. But, simply put, I have never understood the excitement. I would much rather spend my day with my family, especially on the ten year anniversary of nine eleven, than ogling some paisley Parke and Ronen shorts. Therefore, I do apologize for the absence of the now common place Fashion Week photos. Now haul yourself off your couch and open the shades. Its a sunny day out there.
